None have fascinated me more than the nomads of Tibet, a country that I have been visiting for more than twenty years. I look at the sunburned cheeks of this little girl and wonder at the tenacity it must take to live in such beautiful yet demanding environments and the delicate balance it takes for man, animal and landscape to coexist.
