Thin Thin Khaing runs a home based sewing business. She received a BRAC loan for $300 and bought some cloth. She already had these sewing machines, although she would like to be able to upgrade to a new electric machine. Individual people come in for orders and she makes about $20 a day. Her husband works in government work and he makes about $300-$500 a month. They have two daughters and the oldest studies zoology at university.
