Bangladesh, Khulna, Sonadanga sweeper colony. Most of these people living in this slum are Dalit Hindu, or the untouchable caste working as sweepers and toilet cleaners. There are about 5.5 million Dalit across the country, they are most neglected caste in their society. Jhorna Das works in fecal sludge management, cleaning toilets. The NGO, SNV, works to educate cleaners to have better hygiene when cleaning by washing hands, using rubber gloves and protection. Model released.
