They collect 2 TK each for about 100 customers a day so they make about 200 TKs or $2 a day. they live in a local slum and have one daughter. He tends to take the money and drink.  Most of these people living in this slum are Dalit Hindu, or the untouchable caste working as sweepers and toilet cleaners. There are about 5.5 million Dalit across the country, they are most neglected caste in their society. The SNV Development Organization is providing fecal sludge management and occupational safety training for toilet and septic tank cleaners. Cleaning the toilets. Model released.
