Myanmar/Burma, Bago. Sandar Linn, works in lacquer. She lacquers about 40 wooden pieces per day. These are used to hold accessories for weddings, decoration or altars. It’s a home-based income generating business. Her husband does the woodcarving underneath their house. Agents either buy them or they sell them to the pagoda directly themselves.
