Jouana and his grandfather Esa, Sami reindeer herders, Lapland, Arctic Circle, Finland 2008.
Sami are the indigenous people of the Scandinavian Arctic including the northernmost areas of Finland. Jouana is following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps as he ran out into the snow to feed the reindeer on their farm.
