At a BRAC Empowerment and Livelihood for Adolescents (ELA) club in Dar Es Salaam, girls perform a dance to educate their peers about HIV/AIDS. ELA clubs focus on girls who have dropped out of school and provide a safe space to learn about sexual and reproductive health issues, financial management, job training and to socialize. In many BRAC countries, ELA clubs offer some of the only safe spaces for girls to talk openly about issues they face.
