BRAC began its microfinance and livelihood training programs in Tanzania in 2006 and today operates 120 branch offices in 18 regions to reach women in even the most remote areas of the country. Microfinance is the heart of BRAC’s integrated approach to ending poverty and its complementary services including skills training as well as finance and business management.
